  1. We’ve read the parts of Yehudis’s book that were serialized in Hamodia and really enjoyed them. Would love to win this book for our family!

  2. The images and links to the books on your Literature lists don’t seem to be loading in my browser! They look like some great selections based on your comments and reviews, though… I’d love to find out what the books are!

  3. Haven’t read any of the books. I think my daughter would enjoy The Case of the Disappearing Chanukah Candles by Ellen Roteman

  4. Yehudis Litvak’s chanukah trilogy is excellent! My kids love to read them. SHe makes history come alive.

  5. I’ve never heard of any of these!! They sound amazing and give me chills!!!

Thank you for compiling this list, at least for a future read!! 🤣🤣

  6. This is such a useful website, I’m surprised not to have heard about it until now. We have read some of the books in giveaway and look forward to reading the others. Libi Astaire’s Ezra Melamed series is a favorite here. One of my bachurim was reading Etka Gittel Schwartz’s Caravan and was amazed at how true to life the stories and characterizations were. Hatzlachah and happy Chanukah to all.

  7. We are using the Sword & Scroll series of books in our home schooling this year. I haven’t read them yet myself, but my high schooler loved all 3!

  8. I had no idea Jewish Regency Mysteries were a thing. I love that! So now I’m very excited to read “The Melancholy Menorah.”

  9. I’m a big fan of E. G. Schwartz and Libi Astaire! I’m really excited about this giveaway!
(This week I just returned to my local library Schwartz’s “Shortchanged” in exchange for Astaire’s “The Disappearing Dowry”.

  10. I’m not sure how the winner will be able to choose between the books! I haven’t read any of them yet, but they all look like great reads.

  11. My daughter is an avid reader and hasn’t read any of these yet. I think she’d especially like the Star Detectives book!

  12. I remember reading one of E.K. Schwartz’s stories in Binah. It was very riveting. Would love to read the rest of her book.

  13. I would love to try a Ellen Rotemans books for my kids- or really, any of them! Thank you so much for helping connect families with great suggested reading!!!

  14. By now, I’ve gotten what I wanted to say because the site keeps blocking me as a suspected bot! I don’t know how’d chose, they all seem great. Yehudis, I didn’t know you wrote fiction!

  15. I’m a big fan of Libi Astaire’s books – so excited about the new book – can’t wait to read it!

  16. I wanted to comment on the book
The Tannaim and Amoraim – A Guide to the Chachmei HaTalmud — but I couldn’t seem to navigate through the blog post it appeared on.
Nevertheless, it seems ideal for our homeschool (and family) library…as do so many of the books here!
